8and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
11These things spake he: and after this he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus is fallen asleep; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
36and be ye yourselves like unto men looking for their lord, when he shall return from the marriage feast; that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may straightway open unto him.
6But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him.

3And the steward said within himself, What shall I do, seeing that my lord taketh away the stewardship from me? I have not strength to dig; to beg I am ashamed.
7And he spake a parable unto those that were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief seats; saying unto them,
20Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
24For I say unto you, that none of those men that were bidden shall taste of my supper.
19For the man is not at home; He is gone a long journey:
12And he said to him also that had bidden him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kinsmen, nor rich neighbors; lest haply they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee.

39But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not have left his house to be broken through. [
