2The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,

4Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them that are bidden, Behold, I have made ready my dinner; my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast.
5But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise;

7But the king was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they that were bidden were not worthy.
9Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.
10And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.
11But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:
12and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.
13Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
13Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby.
14For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.
23And one said unto him, Lord, are they few that are saved? And he said unto them,
24Strive to enter in by the narrow door: for many, I say unto you, shall seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
16But he said unto him, A certain man made a great supper; and he bade many:

22And the servant said, Lord, what thou didst command is done, and yet there is room.
23And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and constrain [them] to come in, that my house may be filled.
24For I say unto you, that none of those men that were bidden shall taste of my supper.
25Now there went with him great multitudes: and he turned, and said unto them,
37Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few.
30But many shall be last [that are] first; and first [that are] last.
26For behold your calling, brethren, that not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called] :
42and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

10And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast: and the door was shut.
47And that servant, who knew his lord's will, and made not ready, nor did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes] ;
