20Wisdom crieth aloud in the street; She uttereth her voice in the broad places;
21She crieth in the chief place of concourse; At the entrance of the gates, In the city, she uttereth her words:

3She hath sent forth her maidens; She crieth upon the highest places of the city:
4Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: As for him that is void of understanding, she saith to him,
10And, behold, there met him a woman With the attire of a harlot, and wily of heart.
11(She is clamorous and wilful; Her feet abide not in her house:
12Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places, And lieth in wait at every corner.)
11For wisdom is better than rubies; And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared unto it.
12I wisdom have made prudence my dwelling, And find out knowledge [and] discretion.
14For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, And the profit thereof than fine gold.
15She is more precious than rubies: And none of the things thou canst desire are to be compared unto her.
16Length of days is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor.
17Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her paths are peace.
18She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: And happy is every one that retaineth her.

6Forsake her not, and she will preserve thee; Love her, and she will keep thee.
7Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [Therefore] get wisdom; Yea, with all thy getting get understanding.
8Exalt her, and she will promote thee; She will bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her.
9She will give to thy head a chaplet of grace; A crown of beauty will she deliver to thee.
12But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?
5Her feet go down to death; Her steps take hold on Sheol;
6So that she findeth not the level path of life: Her ways are unstable, [and] she knoweth [it] not.
20Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding?
25Let not thy heart decline to her ways; Go not astray in her paths.
28On the cliff she dwelleth, and maketh her home, Upon the point of the cliff, and the stronghold.
34Blessed is the man that heareth me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.

14Counsel is mine, and sound knowledge: I am understanding; I have might.
18For her house inclineth unto death, And her paths unto the dead;
8Remove thy way far from her, And come not nigh the door of her house;
20That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, And keep the paths of the righteous.
9Then shalt thou understand righteousness and justice, And equity, [yea], every good path.
3Yea, if thou cry after discernment, And lift up thy voice for understanding;
4If thou seek her as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures:
31Give her of the fruit of her hands; And let her works praise her in the gates.
7When I went forth to the gate unto the city, When I prepared my seat in the street,
31in that thou buildest thy vaulted place at the head of every way, and makest thy lofty place in every street, and hast not been as a harlot, in that thou scornest hire.
26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; And the law of kindness is on her tongue.
4Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; And call understanding [thy] kinswoman:
6For at the window of my house I looked forth through my lattice;
8If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, Go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, And feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents.
