24Teach me, and I will hold my peace; And cause me to understand wherein I have erred.

27That they may know that this is thy hand; [That] thou, Jehovah, hast done it.
5O God, thou knowest my foolishness; And my sins are not hid from thee.

19But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, [saying], Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
34Because I feared the great multitude, And the contempt of families terrified me, So that I kept silence, and went not out of the door--

26and I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover; for they are a rebellious house.
5Mark me, and be astonished, And lay your hand upon your mouth.
28Let him sit alone and keep silence, because he hath laid it upon him.
10I believe, for I will speak: I was greatly afflicted:
4Thou holdest mine eyes watching: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
6Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I; Yea, thine own lips testify against thee.
13Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak; And let come on me what will.
28I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.
31Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: Hold thy peace, and I will speak.
14For he hath not directed his words against me; Neither will I answer him with your speeches.
23For calamity from God is a terror to me, And by reason of his majesty I can do nothing.
