20The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of Jehovah, was taken in their pits; Of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the nations.
9But now thou hast cast [us] off, and brought us to dishonor, And goest not forth with our hosts.
10Thou makest us to turn back from the adversary; And they that hate us take spoil for themselves.
11Thou hast made us like sheep [appointed] for food, And hast scattered us among the nations.
13being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things, even until now.
24But the shameful thing hath devoured the labor of our fathers from our youth, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
8Wherefore the wrath of Jehovah was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to be tossed to and fro, to be an astonishment, and a hissing, as ye see with your eyes.
10How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
7O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of face, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
11And now many nations are assembled against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye see [our desire] upon Zion.
19Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul loathed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and, behold, dismay!
14Moreover I will make thee a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
11They have now compassed us in our steps; They set their eyes to cast [us] down to the earth.
7Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; Shame hath covered my face.
17Then said I unto them, Ye see the evil case that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.

19That thou hast sore broken us in the place of jackals, And covered us with the shadow of death.
3These ten times have ye reproached me: Ye are not ashamed that ye deal hardly with me.
4In that day shall they take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, [and] say, We are utterly ruined: he changeth the portion of my people: how doth he remove [it] from me! to the rebellious he divideth our fields.
8For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and wail; for the fierce anger of Jehovah is not turned back from us.
