16But shun profane babblings: for they will proceed further in ungodliness,
17and their word will eat as doth a gangrene: or whom is Hymenaeus an Philetus;
4he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but doting about questionings and disputes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5wranglings of men corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, supposing that godliness is a way of gain.
16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words] ), showing respect of persons for the sake of advantage.

11Woe unto them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
17Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them.
18For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent.
9but shun foolish questionings, and genealogies, and strifes, and fightings about law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

21and they have been informed concerning thee, that thou teachest all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children neither to walk after the customs.
7which is not another [gospel] only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
3For we also once were foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.
6For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts,
7ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
13And withal they learn also [to be] idle, going about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
12As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13For not even they who receive circumcision do themselves keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
28For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh:
2Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the concision:
24Forasmuch as we have heard that certain who went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls; to whom we gave no commandment;
4and that because of the false brethren privily brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
10but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement, and despise dominion. Daring, self-willed, they tremble not to rail at dignities:
11For we hear of some that walk among you disorderly, that work not at all, but are busybodies.
4This I say, that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.
12I would that they that unsettle you would even go beyond circumcision.
13But evil men and impostors shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
15Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16the one [do it] of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel;
13For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ.
22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding your own selves.
4wherein they think it strange that ye run not with [them] into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you] :
