1 Og Herren talte til Moses og sa,

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Dette skal være loven om den spedalskes renselse på den dagen han skal renses: Han skal føres til presten.

This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: he shall be brought unto the priest:

3 Og presten skal gå ut av leiren; når presten ser på ham og spedalskhetens sykdom er helbredet på den spedalske,

and the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look; and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper,

4 skal presten befale at det hentes to levende, rene fugler, sedertre, skarlagenrød tråd og isop til renselsen.

then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

5 Presten skal befale at den ene fuglen skal slaktes i en leirkrukke over rennende vann.

And the priest shall command to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

6 Den levende fuglen skal han ta sammen med sedertreet, skarlagenrødfargen og isopen og dyppe dem, sammen med den levende fuglen, i blodet til fuglen som ble slaktet over rennende vann.

As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

7 Og han skal stenke blodet på den som skal renses for spedalskhet, sju ganger, og erklære ham ren. Den levende fuglen skal han slippe fri på marken.

And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let go the living bird into the open field.

8 Den som skal renses, skal vaske klærne sine, barbere av alt håret sitt og bade seg i vann, så han blir ren. Deretter kan han komme inn i leiren, men skal bo utenfor teltet sitt i sju dager.

And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.

9 På den sjuende dagen skal han igjen barbere hodet, skjegget og øyenbrynene, alt håret skal barberes av. Han skal vaske klærne sine og bade kroppen i vann, så han blir ren.

And it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

10 På den åttende dagen skal han ta to feilfrie værlam og ett årsgammelt, feilfritt hunlam, samt tre tiendedels mål fint mel blandet med olje til matoffer og en vavlogg olje.

And on the eighth day he shall take two he-lambs without blemish, and one ewe-lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenth parts `of an ephah' of fine flour for a meal-offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

11 Presten som renser ham, skal stille mannen som skal renses, og alt det medbrakte fram for Herren ved inngangen til åpenbaringsteltet.

And the priest that cleanseth him shall set the man that is to be cleansed, and those things, before Jehovah, at the door of the tent of meeting.

12 Presten skal ta det ene værlamet og ofre det som skyldoffer, sammen med oljen, og løfte det som et viftoffer for Herren.

And the priest shall take one of the he-lambs, and offer him for a trespass-offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave-offering before Jehovah:

13 Han skal slakte værlamet der hvor syndofferet og brennofferet slaktes, på det hellige stedet. For skyldofferet tilhører presten, som syndofferet; det er høyhellig.

and he shall kill the he-lamb in the place where they kill the sin-offering and the burnt-offering, in the place of the sanctuary: for as the sin-offering is the priest's, so is the trespass-offering: it is most holy:

14 Presten skal ta litt av skyldofferets blod og stryke det på hørespissen til den som skal renses, på tommelen på hans høyre hånd og på stortåen på hans høyre fot.

and the priest shall take of the blood of the trespass-offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.

15 Presten skal ta litt av den olje, og helle den i sin venstre hånd.

And the priest shall take of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand;

16 Så skal presten dyppe fingeren på høyre hånd i oljen i venstre hånd og stenke litt av oljen med fingeren sju ganger foran Herren.

and the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before Jehovah:

17 Resten av oljen i hånden skal presten stryke på den som skal renses, på hørespissen til hans høyre øre, tommelen på hans høyre hånd og stortåen på hans høyre fot, sammen med blodet fra skyldofferet.

and of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass-offering:

18 Resten av oljen i prestens hånd skal han stryke på hodet til den som skal renses, og presten skal gjøre soning for ham foran Herren.

and the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah.

19 Presten skal ofre syndofferet og gjøre soning for den som skal renses på grunn av hans urenhet. Deretter skal han slakte brennofferet.

And the priest shall offer the sin-offering, and make atonement for him that is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness: and afterward he shall kill the burnt-offering;

20 Presten skal ofre brennofferet og matofferet på alteret, og presten skal gjøre soning for ham, og han skal bli ren.

and the priest shall offer the burnt-offering and the meal-offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

21 Hvis han er fattig og ikke har råd til så mye, skal han ta ett værlam til skyldoffer, til å viftes, for å gjøre soning for ham, en tiendedel mål fint mel blandet med olje til matoffer, og en logg olje,

And if he be poor, and cannot get so much, then he shall take one he-lamb for a trespass-offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth part `of an ephah' of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering, and a log of oil;

22 og to turtelduer eller to dueungene, avhengig av hva han kan få tak i; den ene for syndoffer og den andre for brennoffer.

and two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin-offering, and the other a burnt-offering.

23 På den åttende dagen skal han bringe dem til presten for sin renselse ved inngangen til åpenbaringsteltet, foran Herren.

And on the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tent of meeting, before Jehovah:

24 Presten skal ta skyldoffer-lamet og oljen og vifte det som et viftoffer for Herren.

and the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass-offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave-offering before Jehovah.

25 Deretter skal han slakte skyldoffer-lamet, og presten skal ta av blodet og stryke det på hørespissen til den som skal renses, tommelen på hans høyre hånd og stortåen på hans høyre fot.

And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass-offering; and the priest shall take of the blood of the trespass-offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.

26 Presten skal helle litt av oljen i sin venstre hånd.

And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;

27 Og med høyre finger skal han stenke litt av oljen fra sin venstre hånd sju ganger foran Herren.

and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before Jehovah:

28 Presten skal stryke litt av oljen som er i hans hånd, på hørespissen til den som skal renses, tommelen på hans høyre hånd og stortåen på hans høyre fot, sammen med blodet fra skyldofferet.

and the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass-offering:

29 Resten av oljen i prestens hånd skal han stryke på hodet til den som skal renses, for å gjøre soning for ham foran Herren.

and the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before Jehovah.

30 Han skal ofre en av turtelduene eller dueungene, avhengig av hva han kan få tak i.

And he shall offer one of the turtle-doves, or of the young pigeons, such as he is able to get,

31 Hva han kan få tak i til syndoffer, den ene, og den andre for brennofferet, sammen med matofferet. Presten skal gjøre soning for den som skal renses, foran Herren.

even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, with the meal-offering: and the priest shall make atonement for him that is to be cleansed before Jehovah.

32 Dette er loven for dem som lider av spedalskhet og som ikke har råd til renselsesfrembringelsene.

This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to get `that which pertaineth' to his cleansing.

33 Og Herren talte til Moses og Aron og sa,

And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

34 Når dere kommer inn i Kanaans land, som jeg gir dere til eiendom, og jeg legger spedalskhetens sykdom på et hus i landet dere eier,

When ye are come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

35 da skal den som eier huset komme og fortelle presten og si: Det synes å være spedalskhet i huset.

then he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, There seemeth to me to be as it were a plague in the house.

36 Da skal presten befale at huset tømmes før han går inn for å se på det, så ikke alt i huset blir urent. Deretter skal presten gå inn for å inspisere huset.

And the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goeth in to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

37 Han skal se på sykdommen, og hvis det er grønnlige eller rødaktige striper i veggene, og det ser ut til å være dypere enn veggen,

and he shall look on the plague; and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and the appearance thereof be lower than the wall;

38 da skal presten gå ut av huset til døren og stenge det for sju dager.

then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.

39 Presten skal komme igjen på den sjuende dagen og se på det. Hvis sykdommen har spredt seg i husets vegger,

And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look; and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;

40 da skal han befale at steinene som er berørt, tas ut og kastes på et urent sted utenfor byen.

then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which the plague is, and cast them into an unclean place without the city:

41 Han skal få huset skrapt innvendig rundt omkring, og de avskrapede materialene skal helles ut på et urent sted utenfor byen.

and he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the mortar, that they scrape off, without the city into an unclean place:

42 De skal ta andre steiner og sette dem på plass der de gamle steinene var, og man skal bruke nytt mørtel til å pusse huset.

and they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.

43 Hvis sykdommen bryter ut igjen i huset etter at steinene er tatt ut, huset skrapet og pusset,

And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken out the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plastered;

44 da skal presten gå inn og se. Hvis sykdommen har spredd seg i huset, er det en vedvarende spedalskhet i huset; det er urent.

then the priest shall come in and look; and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean.

45 Han skal rive ned huset, dets steiner, tømmeret og alt murt, og føre alt ut av byen til et urent sted.

And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the mortar of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

46 Den som går inn i huset mens det er stengt, skal være uren til kvelden.

Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.

47 Den som ligger i huset, skal vaske sine klær, og den som spiser i huset, skal vaske sine klær.

And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

48 Hvis presten kommer inn og ser at sykdommen ikke har spredt seg i huset etter at det er pusset, da skal presten erklære huset rent, for sykdommen er helbredet.

And if the priest shall come in, and look, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plastered; then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

49 Og han skal ta to fugler, sedertre, skarlagenrød tråd og isop for å rense huset.

And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

50 Han skal slakte den ene fuglen i en leirkrukke over rennende vann.

and he shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:

51 Han skal ta sedertreet, isopen, den skarlagenrøde tråden og den levende fuglen, dyppe dem i blodet fra den slaktede fuglen og i det rennende vannet, og stenke huset sju ganger.

and he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:

52 Han skal rense huset med blodet fra fuglen, det rennende vannet, den levende fuglen, sedertreet, isopen og den skarlagenrøde tråden.

and he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

53 Men den levende fuglen skal han slippe fri ut i marken utenfor byen. Slik skal han gjøre soning for huset, og det skal bli rent.

but he shall let got the living bird out of the city into the open field: so shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean.

54 Dette er loven om alle slags spedalskhetstilfeller og skurv,

This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and for a scall,

55 og om spedalskhet på klær og i hus,

and for the leprosy of a garment, and for a house,

56 og om kvise, skabbe og lyse flekker,

and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot;

57 for å lære når det er urent og når det er rent. Dette er loven om spedalskhet.

to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.
