29 And the king took an oath, and said, By the living Lord, who has been my saviour from all my troubles,
12 And David saw that the Lord had made his position safe as king over Israel, and that he had made his kingdom great because of his people Israel.
7 And David said to Solomon, My son, it was my desire to put up a house for the name of the Lord my God.
43 And all the people went away, every man to his house; and David went back to give a blessing to his family.
26 So now, O God of Israel, it is my prayer that you will make your word come true which you said to your servant David, my father.
9 May the Lord your God be praised, whose pleasure it was to put you on the seat of the kingdom of Israel; because the Lord's love for Israel is eternal, he has made you king, to be their judge in righteousness.
