I have put these things in writing for you who have faith in the name of the Son of God, so that you may be certain that you have eternal life.

Transliteration

These things I egrapsa to you the pisteuousin into the onoma of the Huiou of the Theou; that you may eidēte that zōēn aiōnion you echete, and that you may pisteuēte into the onoma of the Huiou of the Theou.
