  • 10 And he put it open before me, and it had writing on the front and on the back; words of grief and sorrow and trouble were recorded in it.

  • 7 And it came about that after ten days the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah.

  • 13 And they took their seats on the earth by his side for seven days and seven nights: but no one said a word to him, for they saw that his pain was very great.

  • 8 And that if anyone did not come before three days were past, as ordered by the rulers and the responsible men, all his goods would be put under the curse, and he himself would be cut off from the meeting of the people who had come back.
