1 Now news came to Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, of all God had done for Moses and for Israel his people, and how the Lord had taken Israel out of Egypt.

25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cutting off the skin of her son's private parts, and touching his feet with it, she said, Truly you are a husband of blood to me.
26 So he let him go. Then she said, You are a husband of blood because of the circumcision.
6 Then one of the children of Israel came to his brothers, taking with him a woman of Midian, before the eyes of Moses and all the meeting of the people, while they were weeping at the door of the Tent of meeting.
24 So Moses took note of the words of his father-in-law, and did as he had said.
21 And while he was in the waste land of Paran, his mother got him a wife from the land of Egypt.
29 And at these words, Moses went in flight to the land of Midian, and was living there for a time, and had two sons.
