1 From blue, purple, and scarlet fabric, they made finely woven garments for serving in the holy place. They also made the holy garments for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.

2 They made the ephod from gold, blue, purple, and scarlet fabric, and finely twisted linen.

And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

3 They hammered sheets of gold, cut it into fine threads, and worked it into the blue, purple, and scarlet fabric, and into the finely twisted linen as a skilled craftsman would.

And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.

4 They made shoulder pieces for the ephod that were attached at its two edges and joined together.

They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.

5 The skillfully woven waistband on the ephod was made of the same materials—gold, blue, purple, and scarlet fabric, and finely twisted linen—just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.

6 They prepared the onyx stones, enclosed in gold settings, engraved like a seal with the names of Israel's sons.

And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.

7 They placed the stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod to serve as a memorial for the sons of Israel, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

8 They made the breastpiece, skillfully crafted like the ephod, from gold, blue, purple, and scarlet fabric, and finely twisted linen.

And he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

9 They made the breastpiece square by folding it double; it was a span long and a span wide when folded.

It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.

10 They mounted four rows of stones on it: the first row was a ruby, topaz, and emerald.

And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.

11 The second row had a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond.

And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.

12 The third row was a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst.

And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.

13 The fourth row was a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were mounted in gold filigree settings.

And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings.

14 The stones corresponded to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve stones for their twelve names, each engraved like a seal with its name to represent the twelve tribes.

And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

15 They made chains of pure gold, like braided cords, for the breastpiece.

And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold.

16 They made two gold filigree settings and two gold rings, and attached the two rings to the two corners of the breastpiece.

And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.

17 They fastened the two gold braided chains to the two rings at the corners of the breastpiece.

And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

18 They attached the two ends of the braided chains to the two gold settings and fastened them to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front.

And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.

19 They made two gold rings and attached them to the two ends of the breastpiece, on its inner edge that faces the ephod.

And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.

20 They made two more gold rings and attached them to the bottom of the shoulder pieces of the ephod, on its front, near its seam above the waistband of the ephod.

And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.

21 They tied the breastpiece to the rings of the ephod with a blue cord, so that it would rest above the ephod’s waistband and not come loose from the ephod, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22 They made the robe of the ephod completely of blue woven fabric.

And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.

23 The opening of the robe was like the opening of a coat of mail, with a woven edge to prevent it from tearing.

And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.

24 They made pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, twisted together, to decorate the hem of the robe.

And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.

25 They also made bells of pure gold and placed them between the pomegranates along the hem of the robe.

And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

26 A bell and a pomegranate alternated around the hem of the robe, to be worn while ministering, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

27 They made the tunics woven from fine linen for Aaron and his sons.

And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,

28 They also made the turban of fine linen, the ornamental headpieces of fine linen, and the linen undergarments of finely twisted linen.

And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,

29 The sash was made of finely twisted linen, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and embroidered by a skilled craftsman, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.

30 They made the sacred plate, the holy diadem, out of pure gold and engraved on it, like an inscription on a seal: 'Holy to the LORD.'

And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

31 They fastened a blue cord to attach it to the turban, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.

32 Thus all the work on the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed, and the Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

33 Then they brought the Tabernacle to Moses—the tent and all its furnishings, including its clasps, frames, crossbars, posts, and bases.

And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,

34 They also brought the covering of ram skins dyed red, the covering of fine leather, and the curtain for shielding.

And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering,

35 The Ark of the Covenant with its poles and the atonement cover were brought as well.

The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,

36 They brought the table with all its utensils and the bread of the Presence.

The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,

37 The lampstand of pure gold with its lamps arranged in order, all its accessories, and the oil for the light were also brought.

The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,

38 They brought the gold altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, and the curtain for the entrance to the tent.

And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,

39 The bronze altar with its bronze grating, its poles, and all its utensils, the basin with its stand,

The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

40 the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard, its ropes, its tent pegs, and all the equipment for the service of the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting,

The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,

41 and the woven garments for ministering in the sanctuary, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons to serve as priests.

The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.

42 The Israelites had done all the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the LORD had commanded. So Moses blessed them.

And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.
