1 After this, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way.

After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.

2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.

There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

3 Simon Peter said to them, 'I am going fishing.' They said to him, 'We will come with you.' So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

4 At dawn, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize it was Jesus.

But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

5 Jesus said to them, 'Children, do you have any fish?' They answered him, 'No.'

Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

6 He said to them, 'Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.' So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in because of the large number of fish.

And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

7 Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, 'It is the Lord!' When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tied his outer garment around himself (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the sea.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

8 The other disciples came in the small boat, pulling the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about two hundred cubits away.

And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

9 When they got out on the land, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish on it, and some bread.

As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

10 Jesus said to them, 'Bring some of the fish you have just caught.'

Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

11 Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net to shore. It was filled with large fish, 153 in total. Even with so many fish, the net was not torn.

Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

12 Jesus said to them, 'Come and have breakfast.' None of the disciples dared to ask him, 'Who are you?' because they knew it was the Lord.

Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

13 Jesus came, took the bread, and gave it to them, and he did the same with the fish.

Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

14 This was now the third time Jesus revealed himself to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.

This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

15 When they had finished eating, Jesus asked Simon Peter, 'Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?' Peter replied, 'Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.' Jesus said to him, 'Feed my lambs.'

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

16 Jesus asked him again, 'Simon son of John, do you love me?' Peter answered, 'Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.' Jesus said to him, 'Take care of my sheep.'

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

17 The third time, Jesus asked, 'Simon son of John, do you love me?' Peter was hurt that Jesus asked him a third time, 'Do you love me?' He said, 'Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.' Jesus said to him, 'Feed my sheep.'

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

18 'Truly, truly, I tell you, when you were younger, you dressed yourself and walked where you wanted; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.'

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, 'Follow me.'

This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

20 Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them. This was the one who had leaned against Jesus at the supper and asked, 'Lord, who is going to betray you?'

Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

21 When Peter saw him, he asked Jesus, 'Lord, what about him?'

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

22 Jesus said to him, 'If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!'

Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

23 So this saying spread among the brothers that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but rather, 'If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?'

Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

24 This is the disciple who is testifying about these things and who wrote them down, and we know that his testimony is true.

This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

25 There are also many other things that Jesus did. If every one of them were written down, I suppose not even the world itself could contain the books that would be written. Amen.
