Verse 1

If someone presents a peace offering and brings an offering from the herd, whether it is male or female, it must be without defect and be presented before the LORD.

And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.

Verse 2

He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then Aaron's sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood against the altar on all sides.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

Verse 3

From the peace offering, he is to present a fire offering to the LORD: the fat that covers the internal organs and all the fat that is on the internal organs;

And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

Verse 4

the two kidneys and the fat on them, which is by the flanks, and the lobe of the liver that he shall remove with the kidneys.

And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

Verse 5

Aaron's sons are to burn them on the altar, on top of the burnt offering that is over the burning wood. It is a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

And Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

Verse 6

If his offering for a peace sacrifice to the LORD comes from the flock, whether male or female, it must be without defect.

And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

Verse 7

If he offers a lamb as his offering, he is to present it before the LORD.

If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.

Verse 8

He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it before the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

Verse 9

From the peace offering, he is to present as a fire offering to the LORD: the fat, including the entire fat tail cut close to the backbone, the fat that covers the internal organs, and all the fat that is on the internal organs,

And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

Verse 10

both kidneys and the fat on them by the flanks, and the lobe of the liver that he shall remove with the kidneys.

And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

Verse 11

The priest shall burn them on the altar as food, a fire offering to the LORD.

And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Verse 12

If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.

And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.

Verse 13

He is to lay his hand on its head and slaughter it before the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.

Verse 14

From it, he is to present his offering as a fire offering to the LORD: the fat that covers the internal organs and all the fat that is on the internal organs,

And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

Verse 15

both kidneys and the fat on them by the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.

And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

Verse 16

The priest shall burn them on the altar as food, a fire offering of a pleasing aroma to the LORD. All the fat belongs to the LORD.

And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD'S.

Verse 17

This is a permanent statute for your generations in all your dwelling places: You must not eat any fat or blood.

It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
