Psalms 131
132→

1 A song of ascents. LORD, my heart is not proud, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with matters too great or too wonderful for me.

LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

3 Israel, hope in the LORD from now and forevermore.

Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
