1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, 'Go and pour out the bowls of God’s wrath on the earth.'

And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2 The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

3 The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.

And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

4 The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

5 Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say, 'You are righteous, Lord, the one who is, and who was, and who is to come, because you have judged these things.'

And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

6 For they shed the blood of your holy people and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

7 And I heard the altar respond, 'Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.'

And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire.

And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

9 They were scorched by the intense heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues. But they refused to repent and glorify him.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony,

And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and sores, but they refused to repent of their deeds.

12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the east.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.

14 They are demonic spirits performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world to gather them for battle on the great day of God Almighty.

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 Look, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps their clothes with them, so they will not walk around naked and be shamefully exposed.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

17 The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, 'It is done!'.

And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

18 Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a massive earthquake—an earthquake so great that none like it has occurred since mankind has been on earth.

And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. Babylon the Great was remembered before God, and He gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of His wrath.

20 Every island fled away, and the mountains could not be found.

21 Huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell from heaven on people, and they cursed God because of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
