1 Herren talte til Moses og sa:

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

2 "Ta med deg Aron og sønnene hans, klærne, salvingsoljen, oksen til syndofferet, de to værer og kurven med usyret brød.

"Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bull of the sin offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread;

3 Samle hele menigheten ved inngangen til møteteltet."

and assemble all the congregation at the door of the Tent of Meeting."

4 Moses gjorde som Herren hadde befalt ham, og menigheten kom sammen ved inngangen til møteteltet.

Moses did as Yahweh commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

5 Moses sa til menigheten: "Dette er det Herren har befalt å gjøre."

Moses said to the congregation, "This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded to be done."

6 Moses førte Aron og sønnene hans frem og vasket dem med vann.

Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

7 Han kledde ham med kjortelen, bandt beltet rundt ham, kledde ham med kappen, satte efoden på ham, og festet den kunstferdig vevde beltet til efoden på ham.

He put the coat on him, tied the sash on him, clothed him with the robe, put the ephod on him, and he tied the skillfully woven band of the ephod on him, and fastened it to him with it.

8 Han satte brystduken på ham; og i brystduken la han Urim og Tummim.

He placed the breastplate on him; and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the Thummim.

9 Han satte turbanen på hodet hans, og på turbanen, foran, festet han den gylne platen, det hellige kronetegnet, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

He set the turban on his head; and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

10 Moses tok salvingsoljen og salvet tabernaklet og alt som var i det, og helliget dem.

Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them.

11 Han stenkte den på alteret syv ganger, og salvet alteret og alle dets kar, fatet og dets understell, for å hellige dem.

He sprinkled it on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the basin and its base, to sanctify them.

12 Han helte noe av salvingsoljen over Aronens hode og salvet ham for å hellige ham.

He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

13 Moses førte Arons sønner frem, kledde dem i kjortler, bandt belter på dem og satte hodeplagg på dem, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

Moses brought Aaron's sons, and clothed them with coats, and tied sashes on them, and put headbands on them; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

14 Han førte frem oksen til syndofferet, og Aron og sønnene hans la hendene sine på oksens hode.

He brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.

15 Han slaktet den, og Moses tok blodet og strøk det rundt hornene på alteret med fingeren sin og renset alteret, og han helte ut blodet ved alterets fot og helliget det for å gjøre soning for det.

He killed it; and Moses took the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.

16 Han tok alt fettet som var på innvollene, leverens dekk og de to nyrene med deres fett, og Moses brente det på alteret.

He took all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat; and Moses burned it on the altar.

17 Men oksen, dens hud, kjøtt og avføring brente han i ild utenfor leiren, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

But the bull, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

18 Han førte frem væren til brennofferet; og Aron og sønnene hans la hendene sine på værens hode.

He presented the ram of the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

19 Han slaktet den, og Moses stenkte blodet rundt alteret.

He killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar round about.

20 Han delte væren opp i sine stykker; og Moses brente hodet, stykkene og fettet.

He cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat.

21 Han vasket innvollene og leggene med vann; og Moses brente hele væren på alteret. Det var et brennoffer til en velbehagelig duft. Det var et ildoffer til Herren, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

He washed the innards and the legs with water; and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a sweet savor. It was an offering made by fire to Yahweh; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

22 Han førte frem den andre væren, innvielsesværen; og Aron og sønnene hans la hendene sine på værens hode.

He presented the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

23 Han slaktet den; og Moses tok noe av blodet, og strøk det på Arons høyre øreflipp, på tommelen av hans høyre hånd, og på den store tåen av hans høyre fot.

He killed it; and Moses took some of its blood, and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.

24 Han førte frem Arons sønner; og Moses strøk noe av blodet på deres høyre øreflipp, på tommelen av deres høyre hånd, og på den store tåen av deres høyre fot; og Moses stenkte blodet rundt alteret.

He brought Aaron's sons; and Moses put some of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot; and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar round about.

25 Han tok fettet, fettfletter, alt fettet som var på innvollene, leveren dekk, de to nyrene med fettet sitt, og det høyre låret;

He took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh;

26 og fra kurven med det usyrede brødet som var fremfor Herren, tok han en usyret kake, en oljeblandet kake og en tynn brødleiv og la dem på fettet og på det høyre låret.

and out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before Yahweh, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and on the right thigh.

27 Han la alt dette i hendene på Aron og hans sønner og svingte dem som et viftoffer for Herren.

He put all these in Aaron's hands and in his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

28 Moses tok det fra deres hender og brente det på alteret sammen med brennofferet. Det var en innvielse til en velbehagelig duft. Det var et ildoffer til Herren.

Moses took them from their hands, and burned them on the altar on the burnt offering. They were a consecration for a sweet savor. It was an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

29 Moses tok brystet og svingte det som et viftoffer for Herren. Det var Moses' del av innvielsesværen, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before Yahweh. It was Moses' portion of the ram of consecration, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

30 Moses tok noe av salvingsoljen og noe av blodet som var på alteret, og stenkte det på Aron, på klærne hans, på hans sønner og på hans sønners klær med ham, og helliget Aron, klærne hans, hans sønner og hans sønners klær med ham.

Moses took some of the anointing oil, and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons' garments with him, and sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

31 Moses sa til Aron og hans sønner: "Kok kjøttet ved inngangen til møteteltet, og der skal dere spise det og brødet som er i innvielseskurven, slik jeg befalte og sa: 'Aron og sønnene hans skal spise det.'

Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, "Boil the flesh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, 'Aaron and his sons shall eat it.'

32 Det som er igjen av kjøttet og brødet skal dere brenne i ild.

What remains of the flesh and of the bread you shall burn with fire.

33 Dere skal ikke gå ut fra inngangen til møteteltet i syv dager, inntil dagene for deres innvielse er fullført, for han skal innvie dere i syv dager.

You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration are fulfilled: for he shall consecrate you seven days.

34 Det som er gjort i dag, har Herren befalt å gjøre for å sone for dere.

What has been done this day, so Yahweh has commanded to do, to make atonement for you.

35 Ved inngangen til møteteltet skal dere holde dere dag og natt i syv dager, og holde Herrens befaling, så dere ikke dør, for slik er det befalt."

At the door of the Tent of Meeting you shall stay day and night seven days, and keep the charge of Yahweh, that you don't die: for so I am commanded."

36 Aron og hans sønner gjorde alt det som Herren hadde befalt gjennom Moses.

Aaron and his sons did all the things which Yahweh commanded by Moses.
