1 The Elder. To ye electe lady and hir childre whom I loue in the trueth: & not I onely, but all they also that haue knowne the trueth,

9 Like as my father hath loued me, eue so haue I loued you. Cotynue ye i my loue.
10 Yf ye kepe my comaundementes, ye shal cotynue in my loue: like as I haue kepte my fathers comaundementes, and cotynue in his loue.
21 And this comaundement haue we of him, that he which loueth God, shulde loue his brother also.

35 By this shal euery man knowe that ye are my disciples, yf ye haue loue one to another.

14 We knowe yt we are traslated from death vnto life, because we loue the brethren. He that loueth not his brother, abydeth in death.
5 For ye chefe summe of the commaundement is loue of a pure hert, and of a good coscience, and of faith vnfayned.
