19There is a couenant betweene me & thee, and betweene my father and thy father: behold, I haue sent vnto thee a present of siluer & golde: come, breake thy couenant with Baasha King of Israel, that he may depart from me.
20So Ben-hadad hearkened vnto King Asa, and sent the captaines of the hosts, which he had, against the cities of Israel, and smote lion, and Dan, and Abel-beth-maachah, & all Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.
21And when Baasha heard thereof, hee left buylding of Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.

9And he gathered all Iudah and Beniamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for there fell many to him out of Israel, when they sawe that the Lorde his God was with him.
10So they assembled to Ierusalem in the third moneth, in the fifteenth yere of the reigne of Asa.
2And he put garisons in all the strong cities of Iudah, and set bandes in the lande of Iudah and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.
15And all Iudah reioyced at the othe: for they had sworne vnto the Lorde with all their heart, and sought him with a whole desire, and he was founde of them; the Lorde gaue them rest rounde about.
16And King Asa deposed Maachah his mother from her regencie, because she had made an idole in a groue: and Asa brake downe her idole, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brooke Kidron.
17But the hie places were not taken away out of Israel: yet the heart of Asa was perfit all his dayes.
18Also he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicate, and that he had dedicate, siluer, and golde, and vessels.
19And there was no warre vnto the fiue and thirtieth yeere of the reigne of Asa.

8And Asa had an armie of Iudah that bare shieldes and speares, three hundreth thousande, and of Beniamin that bare shieldes and drewe bowes, two hundreth and foure score thousande: all these were valiant men.
10Then Asa went out before him, and they set the battell in aray in the valley of Zephathah beside Mareshah.
2And Dauid commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the lande of Israel, and he set masons to hewe and polish stones to builde the house of God.
46And the Sodomites, which remayned in the dayes of his father Asa, he put cleane out of the land.
18And Salomons workemen, and the workemen of Hiram, and the masons hewed and prepared timber and stones for the buylding of the house.
2And he went out to meete Asa, and said vnto him, O Asa, and all Iudah, and Beniamin, heare ye me. The Lorde is with you, while ye be with him: and if ye seeke him, he wil be founde of you, but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
6For he went forth and fought against the Philistims & brake downe the wall of Gath, and the wall of Iabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities in Ashdod, and among the Philistims.
15And this is the cause of the tribute why King Salomon raised tribute, to wit, to builde the house of the Lord, and his owne house, & Millo, & the wal of Ierusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.

14Nowe after this he built a wall without the citie of Dauid, on the Westside of Gihon in the valley, euen at the entrie of the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it very hie, and put captaines of warre in all the strong cities of Iudah.
15In the seuen and twentie yeere of Asa King of Iudah did Zimri reigne seuen dayes in Tirzah, & the people was then in campe against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistims.
