    26 But to the King of Iudah, who sent you to enquire of the Lord, so shal ye say vnto him, Thus saith the Lorde God of Israel, The words which thou hast heard, shal come to passe.

    38 If they turne againe to thee with all their heart, and with all their soule in the land of their captiuitie, whither they haue caryed them captiues, and pray toward their land, which thou gauest vnto their fathers, & toward the citie which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I haue built for thy Name,

    39 Then heare thou in heauen, in the place of thine habitation their prayer and their supplication, and iudge their cause, and be mercifull vnto thy people, which haue sinned against thee.

    40 Nowe my God, I beseech thee, let thine eyes be open, & thine eares attent vnto the prayer that is made in this place.

    33 When thy people Israel shall be ouerthrowen before the enemie, because they haue sinned against thee, and turne againe to thee, and confesse thy Name, and pray and make supplication vnto thee in this house,

    34 Then heare thou in heauen, and be mercifull vnto the sinne of thy people Israel, and bring them againe vnto the lande, which thou gauest vnto their fathers.

  • 2 And shalt returne vnto the Lord thy God, and obey his voyce in all that I commaund thee this day: thou, and thy children with all thine heart and with all thy soule,

    38 Then what prayer, and supplication so euer shalbe made of any man or of all thy people Israel, when euery one shall knowe the plague in his owne heart, and stretch foorth his handes in this house,

    39 Heare thou then in heauen, in thy dwelling place, and be mercifull, and doe, and giue euery man according to all his wayes, as thou knowest his heart, (for thou only knowest the heartes of all the children of men)

  • 9 And saide vnto them, Thus saith the Lorde God of Israel, vnto whom ye sent me to present your prayers before him,

  • 6 So the postes went with letters by the commission of the King, and his princes, thorowout all Israel and Iudah, and with the commaundement of the King, saying, Ye children of Israel, turne againe vnto the Lorde God of Abraham, Izhak, and Israel, and he will returne to the remnant that are escaped of you, out of ye hands of the Kings of Asshur.

  • 13 Yet againe he sent the third captaine ouer fiftie with his fiftie; the thirde captaine ouer fiftie went vp, and came, and fell on his knees before Eliiah, and besought him, and saide vnto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life and the life of these thy fiftie seruants be precious in thy sight.

  • 28 And the worde of the Lord came to Eliiah the Tishbite, saying,

  • 21 Turne thou vs vnto thee, O Lord, and we shalbe turned: renue our dayes as of olde.

  • 10 Now I purpose to make a couenant with the Lord God of Israel, that he may turne away his fierce wrath from vs.

  • 19 O Lorde, for thy seruantes sake, euen according to thine heart hast thou done all this great thing to declare all magnificence.

  • 6 Therefore I saide vnto the Lorde, Thou art my God: heare, O Lord, the voyce of my prayers.

  • 4 O Lord God of hostes, how long wilt thou be angrie against the prayer of thy people?

  • 9 For if ye returne vnto the Lord, your brethren and your children shall finde mercy before them that led them captiues, and they shall returne vnto this lande: for the Lord your God is gracious and mercifull, and will not turne away his face from you, if ye conuert vnto him.

  • 8 And he answered him, Yea, goe tell thy lord, Behold, Eliiah is here.

  • 28 But haue thou respect vnto the prayer of thy seruant, and to his supplication, O Lorde, my God, to heare the cry and prayer which thy seruant prayeth before thee this day:
