9My seruants shal bring them downe from Lebanon to the sea: and I will conuey them by sea in raftes vnto the place that thou shalt shew me, and wil cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receiue them: nowe thou shalt doe mee a pleasure to minister foode for my familie.
10So Hiram gaue Salomon cedar trees and firre trees, euen his full desire.
11And Salomon gaue Hiram twentie thousand measures of wheate for foode to his householde, & twentie measures of beaten oyle. Thus much gaue Salomon to Hiram yere by yere.
12And the Lord gaue Salomon wisedome as he promised him; there was peace betweene Hiram and Salomon, and they two made a couenant.
13And King Salomon raised a summe out of all Israel, and the summe was thirtie thousand men:

15Now therefore the wheate and the barley, the oyle and the wine, which my lorde hath spoken of, let him send vnto his seruants.
16And we wil cut wood in Lebanon as much as thou shalt neede, and will bring it to thee in raftes by the sea to Iapho, so thou mayest cary them to Ierusalem.
11And the worde of the Lord came to Salomon, saying,
12Cocerning this house which thou buildest, if thou wilt walke in mine ordinances, & execute my iudgements, & keepe al my commadements, to walke in them, then will I performe vnto thee my promes, which I promised to Dauid thy father.
17And the King commanded them, and they brought great stones and costly stones to make the foundation of the house, euen hewed stones.
18And Salomons workemen, and the workemen of Hiram, and the masons hewed and prepared timber and stones for the buylding of the house.
27And Hiram sent with the nauie his seruats, that were mariners, and had knowledge of the sea, with the seruants of Salomon.
4And cedar trees without nomber: for the Zidonians and they of Tyrus brought much cedar wood to Dauid.
5And Dauid saide, Salomon my sonne is yong and tender, and we must builde an house for the Lorde, magnificall, excellent and of great fame and dignitie throughout all countreyes. I will therefore nowe prepare for him. So Dauid prepared very much before his death.
6Then he called Salomon his sonne, and charged him to builde an house for the Lorde God of Israel.
7And Dauid said to Salomon, My sonne, I purposed with my selfe to builde an house to the Name of the Lorde my God,

14And Hiram had sent the King sixe score talents of gold.
7The same night did God appeare vnto Salomon, and sayde vnto him, Aske what I shall giue thee.
8And Salomon sayde vnto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy vnto Dauid my father and hast made me to reigne in his stead.
53Then King Salomon sent, & they brought him from the altar, and he came and did obeisance vnto King Salomon; Salomon sayde vnto him, Go to thine house.

3Speake vnto Rehoboam, the sonne of Salomon King of Iudah, and to all Israel that are in Iudah, and Beniamin, saying,
2Then Salomon built the cities that Huram gaue to Salomon, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
1Moreouer Dauid the King sayde vnto all the Congregation, God hath chosen Salomon mine onely sonne yong and tender, and the worke is great: for this house is not for man, but for the Lord God.
6And Salomon sayd, Thou hast shewed vnto thy seruant Dauid my father great mercie, when hee walked before thee in trueth, and in righteonsnes, & in vprightnes of heart with thee: and thou hast kept for him this great mercie, and hast giuen him a sonne, to sit on his throne, as appeareth this day.
33Then the King said vnto them, Take with you the seruants of your lorde, and cause Salomon my sonne to ride vpon mine owne mule, & carie him downe to Gihon.
4Then the Queene of Sheba sawe all Salomons wisedome, and the house that he had built,
46And Salomon also sitteth on the throne of the kingdome.
