23And Elkanah her husband sayd vnto her, Do what seemeth thee best: tarie vntill thou hast weined him: only the Lord accomplish his word. So the woman abode, and gaue her sonne sucke vntill she weined him.
24And when she had weined him, she tooke him with her with three bullockes and an Ephah of floure and a bottell of wine, and brought him vnto the house of the Lorde in Shiloh, and the childe was yong.
25And they slewe a bullocke, and brought the childe to Eli.
26And she said, Oh my Lord, as thy soule liueth, my lord, I am the woman that stoode with thee here praying vnto the Lord.
27I prayed for this childe, and the Lord hath giuen me my desire which I asked of him.
28Therefore also I haue giuen him vnto the Lorde: as long as he liueth hee shalbe giuen vnto the Lord: and he worshipped the Lord there.
1There was a man of one of the two Ramathaim Zophim, of mount Ephraim, whose name was Elkanah the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Elihu, the sonne of Tohu, the sonne of Zuph, an Ephrathite:

3And this man went vp out of his citie euery yeere, to worship and to sacrifice vnto the Lord of hostes in Shiloh, where were the two sonnes of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas Priests of the Lord.
4And on a day, when Elkanah sacrificed, he gaue to Peninnah his wife and to all her sonnes and daughters portions,
5But vnto Hannah he gaue a worthy portion: for he loued Hannah, and the Lorde had made her barren.
6And her aduersarie vexed her sore, forasmuch as she vpbraided her, because the Lorde had made her barren.
7(And so did he yeere by yeere) and as oft as she went vp to the house of the Lord, thus she vexed her, that she wept and did not eate.
8Then sayd Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thine heart troubled? am not I better to thee then ten sonnes?
9So Hannah rose vp after that they had eaten and drunke in Shiloh (and Eli the Priest sate vpon a stoole by one of the postes of the Temple of the Lord)
10And she was troubled in her minde, and prayed vnto the Lord, and wept sore:
11Also she vowed a vowe, and sayd, O Lord of hostes, if thou wilt looke on the trouble of thine handmaide, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaide, but giue vnto thine handmaide a manchilde, then I will giue him vnto the Lord all the dayes of his life, and there shall no rasor come vpon his head.
12And as she continued praying before the Lord, Eli marked her mouth.
13For Hannah spake in her heart: her lips did moue onely, but her voyce was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had bene drunken.
14And Eli sayde vnto her, Howe long wilt thou be drunken? Put away thy drunkennesse from thee.
11And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house, and the childe did minister vnto the Lord before Eli the Priest.
24And the wife bare a sonne, and called his name Samson: and the childe grewe, and the Lorde blessed him.
27Eliab his sonne, Ieroham his sonne, Elkanah his sonne,
16And he said, At this time appointed, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a sonne; she sayd, Oh my Lorde, thou man of God, doe not lye vnto thine handmayd.
17So the woman conceiued, & bare a sonne at that same season, according to the time of life, that Elisha had sayd vnto her.
19And his mother made him a litle coat, and brought it to him from yeere to yeere, when she came vp with her husband, to offer the yerely sacrifice.

9The Lorde graunt you, that you may finde rest, either of you in the house of her husbande; when she kissed them, they lift vp their voice and wept.
4And behold, Boaz came from Beth-lehem, and saide vnto the reapers, The Lord be with you: and they answered him, The Lord blesse thee.
11And all the people that were in the gate, and the Elders sayd, We are witnesses: the Lorde make the wife that commeth into thine house, like Rahel and like Leah, which twaine did build the house of Israel: & that thou mayest doe worthily in Ephrathah, & be famous in Beth-lehem,
13So Boaz tooke Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in vnto her, the Lorde gaue that she conceiued, and bare a sonne.
11Nowe therefore my sonne, the Lord shalbe with thee, and thou shalt prosper, and thou shalt builde an house to the Lorde thy God, as he hath spoken of thee.
9He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a familie, and a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse ye the Lord.
27And now, this blessing which thine handmaid hath brought vnto my lorde, let it be giuen vnto the yong men, that followe my lord.
27Now therfore, it hath pleased thee to blesse the house of thy seruant, that it may bee before thee for euer: for thou, O Lord, hast blessed it, and it shalbe blessed for euer.
13And he wil loue thee, and blesse thee, and multiplie thee: he will also blesse the fruite of thy wombe, and the fruite of thy land, thy corne and thy wine, and thine oyle and the increase of thy kine, and the flockes of thy sheepe in the land, which he sware vnto thy fathers to giue thee.
14Thou shalt be blessed aboue all people: there shall be neither male nor female barren among you, nor among your cattell.
3Beholde, children are the inheritance of the Lord, and the fruite of the wombe his rewarde.
3And God all sufficient blesse thee, and make thee to encrease, and multiplie thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people,
