Neither shall they take for their wiues a widowe, or her that is diuorced: but they shall take maidens of the seede of the house of Israel, or a widow that hath bene the widow of a Priest.

  • 5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them dye & haue no sonne, the wife of the dead shall not marry without: that is, vnto a stranger, but his kinseman shall goe in vnto her, and take her to wife, and doe the kinsemans office to her.

  • 17 There shalbe no whore of the daughters of Israel, neither shal there be a whore keeper of the sonnes of Israel.

  • 11 But refuse the yonger widowes: for when they haue begun to waxe wanton against Christ, they will marrie,

  • 16 If thou hatest her, put her away, sayeth the Lorde God of Israel, yet he couereth the iniurie vnder his garment, saieth the Lord of hosts: therefore keepe your selues in your spirite, and transgresse not.

  • 30 And that we would not giue our daughters to the people of the lande, neither take their daughters for our sonnes.

  • 6 Take you wiues, and beget sonnes and daughters, and take wiues for your sonnes, and giue your daughters to husbands, that they may beare sonnes and daughters, that ye may bee increased there, and not diminished.

  • 9 If a Priestes daughter fall to play the whore, she polluteth her father: therefore shal she be burnt with fire.
