16Behold, sayth the Lord, I wil send out many fishers, and they shal fish them, and after, will I send out many hunters, and they shal hunt them from euery mountaine and from euery hill, and out of the caues of the rockes.

13The people shall make a sounde like the noise of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee farre off, and shalbe chased as the chaffe of the mountaines before the winde, and as a rolling thing before the whirlewinde.
12We wil swallow them vp aliue like a graue euen whole, as those that goe downe into the pit:
6(40:25) Shall the companions baket with him? shal they deuide him among the marchants?
7(40:26) Canst thou fill the basket with his skinne? or the fishpanier with his head?

4And though they goe into captiuitie before their enemies, thence wil I commande the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes vpon them for euill, and not for good.
15So they tooke vp Ionah, and cast him into the sea, and the sea ceased from her raging.
8They eate vp the sinnes of my people, and lift vp their mindes in their iniquitie.
7For without cause they haue hid the pit & their net for me: without cause haue they digged a pit for my soule.
29His roaring shalbe like a lyon, and he shall roare like lyons whelpes: they shall roare, and lay holde of the praye: they shall take it away, and none shall deliuer it.
30And in that day they shal roare vpon them, as the roaring of the sea: and if they looke vnto the earth, beholde darkenesse, and sorowe, and the light shalbe darkened in their skie.
8Then the nations set against him on euery side of the countreys, and laide their nets for him: so he was taken in their pit.
23Thy cordes are loosed: they could not wel strengthen their maste, neither coulde they spread the saile: then shall the praye be deuided for a great spoile: yea, the lame shal take away the pray.

3And they eate also the flesh of my people, & flay off their skinne from them, & they breake their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
15Their feete are swift to shead blood.
17Then shall the lambes feede after their maner, and the strangers shall eate the desolate places of the fat.
1In that day the Lorde with his sore and great and mightie sword shall visite Liuiathan, that pearcing serpent, euen Liuiathan, that crooked serpent, and he shal slay the dragon that is in the sea.
27And to destroy their seede among the nations, & to scatter them throughout the countries.
8But passing ouer as with a flood, he will vtterly destroy the place thereof, and darknesse shall pursue his enemies.
