16Also I spake to the Priests, and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the Lorde, Heare not the wordes of your prophets that prophecie vnto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the house of the Lord shall nowe shortly be brought againe from Babel, for they prophecie a lie vnto you.
10For they prophecie a lie vnto you to cause you to goe farre from your lande, and that I should cast you out, and you should perish.
31Beholde, I will come against the prophets, saith the Lord, which haue sweete tongues, & say, He saith.

14Thy Prophets haue looked out vayne, & foolish things for thee, and they haue not discouered thine iniquitie, to turne away thy captiuitie, but haue looked out for thee false prophesies, & causes of banishment.
9And he sayd, Goe, and say vnto this people, Ye shall heare in deede, but ye shall not vnderstand: ye shall plainely see, and not perceiue.
10Make the heart of this people fatte, make their eares heauie, and shut their eyes, lest they see with their eyes, and heare with their eares, and vnderstand with their hearts, and conuert, and he heale them.
15Because ye haue said, We haue made a couenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement: though a scourge runne ouer, and passe through, it shal not come at vs: for we haue made falshood our refuge, & vnder vanitie are we hid,
26Saying, Goe vnto this people, and say, By hearing ye shal heare, & shal not vnderstand, and seeing ye shall see, and not perceiue.
10Therefore the Lorde spake by his seruants the Prophets, saying,
21Heare nowe this, O foolish people, and without vnderstanding, which haue eyes and see not, which haue eares and heare not.
11For they haue healed the hurt of the daughter of my people with sweete woordes, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.
