8For Hezekiah had saide vnto Isaiah, What shalbe the signe that the Lorde will heale me, and that I shall goe vp into the house of the Lorde the thirde day?

1About that time was Hezekiah sicke vnto the death, and the Prophet Isaiah sonne of Amoz came vnto him, and sayd vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord, Put thine house in an order, for thou shalt dye, and not liue.

3And saide, I beseeche thee, Lord, remember nowe howe I haue walked before thee in trueth, and with a perfite heart, & haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore.
4Then came the worde of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,
5Goe, and say vnto Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord God of Dauid thy father, I haue heard thy prayer, and seene thy teares: behold, I will adde vnto thy dayes fifteene yeeres.
6And I will deliuer thee out of the hand of the King of Asshur, and this citie: for I will defende this citie.
7And this signe shalt thou haue of ye Lord, that ye Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken,
9The writing of Hezekiah King of Iudah, when he had bene sicke, and was recouered of his sickenesse.
10I saide in the cutting off of my dayes, I shall goe to the gates of the graue: I am depriued of the residue of my yeeres.
9And in that day, saith the Lorde God, I will euen cause the sunne to go downe at noone: and I will darken the earth in the cleare day.
21Then said Isaiah, Take a lumpe of drye figs and lay it vpon the boyle, and he shall recouer.
22Also Hezekiah had said, What is ye signe, that I shall goe vp into the House of the Lord?
5The sunne riseth, and ye sunne goeth downe, and draweth to his place, where he riseth.
6The winde goeth toward the South, and compasseth towarde the North: the winde goeth rounde about, and returneth by his circuites.
4And afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle of the court, the worde of the Lord came to him, saying,

18And the vaile for the Sabbath (that they had made in the house) & the Kings entrie without turned he to the house of the Lord, because of the King of Asshur.
16And he caused me to enter into the inner court of the Lordes house, and beholde, at the doore of the Temple of the Lord, betweene the porche and the altar were about fiue and twentie men with their backs toward the Temple of the Lord, and their faces towarde the East, and they worshipped the sunne, towarde the East.
6And in that day shall there bee no cleare light, but darke.
7And there shall bee a day (it is knowen to the Lorde) neither day nor night, but about the euening time it shall be light.
10And the Lorde spake againe vnto Ahaz, saying,
10For the starres of heauen and the planets thereof shall not giue their light: the sunne shalbe darkened in his going foorth, and the moone shal not cause her light to shine.
16And I will bring the blinde by a way, that they knewe not, and lead them by paths that they haue not knowen: I will make darkenesse light before them, and crooked thinges straight. These thinges will I doe vnto them, and not forsake them.
26Moreouer, the light of the moone shall be as the light of the sunne, and the light of the sunne shalbe seuen folde, and like the light of seuen dayes in the day that the Lord shall binde vp the breach of his people, and heale the stroke of their wound.
15The sunne & moone shalbe darkened, and the starres shall withdrawe their light.
16Giue glory to the Lorde your God before he bring darknes, and or euer your feete stumble in the darke mountaines, and whiles you look for light, he turne it into the shadowe of death and make it as darkenesse.
8Then shall thy light breake foorth as the morning, and thine health shal grow speedily: thy righteousnes shall goe before thee, and the glorie of the Lord shall embrace thee.
2Whiles the sunne is not darke, nor ye light, nor the moone, nor the starres, nor the cloudes returne after the raine:
5And Isaiah saide to Hezekiah, Heare the worde of the Lord of hostes,
7He commandeth the sunne, & it riseth not: hee closeth vp the starres, as vnder a signet.
11The sunne and moone stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrowes they went, and at the bright shining of thy speares.
16And Isaiah said vnto Hezekiah, Heare the worde of the Lorde.
21For the Lord shall stand as in mount Perazim: hee shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his worke, his strage worke, and bring to passe his acte, his strange acte.
23Then the moone shal be abashed, and the sunne ashamed, when the Lorde of hostes shall reigne in mount Zion and in Ierusalem: and glory shalbe before his ancient men.
12But when the Lorde hath accomplished all his worke vpon mount Zion and Ierusalem, I will visite the fruite of the proude heart of the King of Asshur, and his glorious and proud lookes,
21Then Isaiah the sonne of Amoz sent vnto Hezekiah, saying, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, Because thou hast prayed vnto me, concerning Saneherib king of Asshur,
2But vnto you that feare my Name, shall the sunne of righteousnesse arise, and health shall be vnder his wings, and ye shall goe forth, & growe vp as fat calues.
12Haue changed the nyght for the day, and the light that approched, for darkenesse.
6So the postes went with letters by the commission of the King, and his princes, thorowout all Israel and Iudah, and with the commaundement of the King, saying, Ye children of Israel, turne againe vnto the Lorde God of Abraham, Izhak, and Israel, and he will returne to the remnant that are escaped of you, out of ye hands of the Kings of Asshur.
