10And the Lorde spake againe vnto Ahaz, saying,
12But Ahaz sayd, I wil not aske, neither will I tempt the Lord.
13Then he sayd, Heare you nowe, O house of Dauid, Is it a small thing for you to grieue men, that ye will also grieue my God?
14Therefore the Lorde himselfe will giue you a signe. Beholde, the virgine shall conceiue and beare a sonne, and she shal call his name Immanu-el.

32For inquire now of the dayes that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man vpon the earth, and aske from the one ende of heauen vnto the other, if there came to passe such a great thing as this, or whether any such like thing hath bene heard.
16And others tempted him, seeking of him a signe from heauen.
5And Isaiah saide to Hezekiah, Heare the worde of the Lord of hostes,
12Is not God on hie in the heauen? and behold the height of the starres how hie they are.
7But if thou say to me, We trust in the Lord our God. Is not that he, whose hie places & whose altars Hezekiah tooke downe, & said to Iudah & to Ierusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar?
15And Hezekiah prayed vnto the Lorde, saying,
5Looke vnto the heauen, and see and behold the cloudes which are hyer then thou.
8The heauens are hie, what canst thou doe? it is deeper then the hel, how canst thou know it?
3Then sayde the Lorde vnto Isaiah, Goe foorth nowe to meete Ahaz (thou and Sheariashub thy sonne) at the ende of the conduit of the vpper poole, in the path of the fullers fielde,
11Thus saith the Lord, the holy one of Israel, and his maker, Aske me of things to come concerning my sonnes, and concerning the workes of mine hands: commande you me.
19But the prince had answered the man of God, and saide, Though the Lorde would make windowes in the heauen, coulde it come so to passe? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not eate thereof.
1Aske you of the Lord raine in the time of the latter raine: so shall the Lorde make white cloudes, and giue you showers of raine, and to euery one grasse in the field.
7Then Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath Pileser king of Asshur, saying, I am thy seruant & thy sonne: come vp, & deliuer me out of the hand of the king of Aram, and out of the hand of the King of Israel which rise vp against me.
24In those dayes Hezekiah was sicke vnto the death, and prayed vnto the Lorde, who spake vnto him, and gaue him a signe.

1And in the dayes of Ahaz, the sonne of Iotham, the sonne of Vzziah king of Iudah, Rezin the King of Aram came vp, and Pekah the sonne of Remaliah King of Israel, to Ierusalem to fight against it, but he could not ouercome it.
2Then a prince, on whose hande the King leaned, answered the man of God, and saide, Though the Lorde would make windowes in the heauen, could this thing come to passe? And he said, Beholde, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not eate thereof.
7The same night did God appeare vnto Salomon, and sayde vnto him, Aske what I shall giue thee.

23Whome hast thou railed on and blasphemed? and against whome hast thou exalted thy voyce, & lifted vp thine eyes on hie? euen against the holy one of Israel.
17Encline thine eare, O Lord, and heare: open thine eyes, O Lorde, and see, and heare all the wordes of Saneherib, who hath sent to blaspheme the liuing God.
15And Hezekiah prayed before the Lorde, and saide, O Lorde God of Israel, which dwellest betweene the Cherubims, thou art very God alone ouer all the kingdomes of the earth: thou hast made the heauen and the earth.
18Least Hezekiah deceiue you, saying, The Lord wil deliuer vs. Hath any of the gods of the nations deliuered his land out of the hand of the King of Asshur?

7Thus sayth the Lorde of hostes, Consider your owne wayes in your hearts.
4Then came the worde of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,
34Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from among nations, by tentations, by signes, and by wonders, and by warre, and by a mightie hand, and by a stretched out arme, & by great feare, according vnto all that the Lord your God did vnto you in Egypt before your eyes?
6Who abaseth himselfe to beholde things in the heauen and in the earth!
21Then Isaiah the sonne of Amoz sent vnto Hezekiah, saying, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, Because thou hast prayed vnto me, concerning Saneherib king of Asshur,
5And the Lord spake yet againe vnto me, saying,
17And he answered him, I pray thee, if I haue founde fauour in thy sight, then shewe me a signe, that thou talkest with me.
7Aske, and it shall be giuen you: seeke, and ye shall finde: knocke, and it shall be opened vnto you.
23And I besought the Lorde the same time, saying,
11And the Pharises came foorth, and began to dispute with him, seeking of him a signe from heauen, and tempting him.
26But to the King of Iudah, who sent you to enquire of the Lord, so shal ye say vnto him, Thus saith the Lorde God of Israel, The words which thou hast heard, shal come to passe.
