  • 7 And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the Lorde God of their fathers: and therfore he made them desolate, as ye see.

  • 16 Therefore all they that deuoure thee, shal be deuoured, & all thine enemies euery one shall goe into captiuitie: and they that spoyle thee, shalbe spoyled, and all they that robbe thee, wil I giue to be robbed.

  • 9 They are deepely set: they are corrupt as in the daies of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their iniquitie, he will visite their sinnes.

  • 7 They are all hote as an ouen, and haue deuoured their iudges: all their Kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth vnto me.

  • 19 O Lord, thou art my force, & my strength & my refuge in the day of affliction: the Gentiles shal come vnto thee from the ends of the world, & shal say, Surely our fathers haue inherited lies, and vanitie, wherein was no profite.
