10And I will turne your feastes into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation: and I will bring sackcloth vpon all loynes, and baldnes vpon euery head: and I will make it as the mourning of an onely sonne, and the ende thereof as a bitter day.
11Beholde, the dayes come, sayeth the Lorde God, that I will send a famine in the lande, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the word of the Lord.
5What wil ye do then in the solemne day, and in the day of the feast of the Lord?
15Also the worde of ye Lord came vnto me, saying,
7Alas, for this day is great: none hath bene like it: it is euen the time of Iaakobs trouble, yet shall he be deliuered from it.
8Beholde, it is come, and it is done, sayeth the Lord God: and this is the day whereof I haue spoken.
30And in that day they shal roare vpon them, as the roaring of the sea: and if they looke vnto the earth, beholde darkenesse, and sorowe, and the light shalbe darkened in their skie.
14Then saide the Lorde vnto me, Out of the North shall a plague be spred vpon all the inhabitants of the land.
15For loe, I will call all the families of the kingdomes of the North, saith the Lord, and they shall come, and euery one shall set his throne in the entring of the gates of Ierusalem, and on all the walles thereof rounde about, and in all the cities of Iudah.
31The sunne shalbe turned into darkenesse, and the moone into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.
3For beholde, the Lorde commeth out of his place, and will come downe, and tread vpon the hie places of the earth.
8Mourne like a virgine girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
15Beholde vpon the mountaines the feete of him that declareth, and publisheth peace: O Iudah, keepe thy solemne feastes, perfourme thy vowes: for the wicked shall no more passe thorowe thee: he is vtterly cut off.
12Therefore also now the Lord sayth, Turne you vnto me with all your heart, & with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning,
