  • 15And when our enemies heard that it was knowen vnto vs, then God brought their counsell to nought, and we turned all againe to the wall, euery one vnto his worke.

  • 13So the workemen wrought, and the worke amended through their hands: & they restored the house of God to his state, & strengthened it.

  • 9And Ieshua stood with his sonnes, and his brethren, and Kadmiel with his sonnes, and the sonnes of Iudah together to set forward ye workemen in the house of God, and the sonnes of Henadad with their sonnes, and their brethren the Leuites.

  • 1And when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies heard that I had built the wall, & that there were no mo breaches therein, (though at that time I had not set vp the doores vpon the gates)

  • 6Yet in the three and twentieth yeere of King Iehoash the Priestes had not mended that which was decayed in the Temple.
