6Come now therefore, I pray thee, and curse me this people (for they are stronger then I) so it may be that I shall be able to smite them, and to driue them out of the land: for I knowe that hee, whome thou blessest, is blessed, and he whom thou cursest, shall be cursed.
4Lord, let me know mine ende, and the measure of my dayes, what it is: let mee knowe howe long I haue to liue.
9He coucheth and lieth downe as a yong lion, and as a lion: who shall stirre him vp? blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
10Then Balak was very angry with Balaam, and smote his handes together: so Balak sayde vnto Balaam, I sent for thee to curse mine enemies, and beholde, thou hast blessed them nowe three times.

16And I will make thy seede, as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seede be numbred.
15Therefore if thou deale thus with mee, I pray thee, if I haue founde fauour in thy sight, kill me, that I behold not my miserie.
3Therefore nowe O Lorde, take, I beseech thee, my life from me: for it is better for me to die then to liue.

12Mine habitation is departed, and is remoued from me, like a shepheards tent: I haue cut off like a weauer my life: he will cut me off from the height: from day to night, thou wilt make an ende of me.
5Then said I, O Lord God, cease, I beseeche thee: who shal raise vp Iaakob? for he is small.
3And yet thou openest thine eyes vpon such one, and causest me to enter into iudgement with thee.
4Howe long shall the lande mourne, and the herbes of euery fielde wither, for the wickednesse of them that dwell therein? the beastes are consumed and the birdes, because they sayd, He wil not see our last ende.
22For the yeeres accounted come, and I shal go the way, whence I shall not returne.
23Surely I knowe that thou wilt bring mee to death, and to the house appoynted for all the liuing.
2Then he sayd, Beholde, I am nowe olde, and knowe not the day of my death:
5Then let the enemie persecute my soule and take it: yea, let him treade my life downe vpon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
24O Lorde, correct mee, but with iudgement, not in thine anger, least thou bring mee to nothing.
