14 But she sitteth at the doore of her house on a seate in the hie places of the citie,
15 To call them that passe by the way, that go right on their way, saying,
16 Who so is simple, let him come hither, and to him that is destitute of wisedome, shee sayth also,
11 For wisdome is better then precious stones: and all pleasures are not to be compared vnto her.
12 I wisdome dwell with prudence, and I find foorth knowledge and counsels.
10 Day and night they goe about it vpon the walles thereof: both iniquitie and mischiefe are in the middes of it.
11 Wickednes is in the middes thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streetes.

20 Whence then commeth wisedome? And where is the place of vnderstanding,
12 But where is wisdome found? and where is the place of vnderstanding?

19 Such are the wayes of euery one that is greedy of gaine: he would take away the life of the owners thereof.
18 For in the multitude of wisedome is much griefe: and he that increaseth knowledge, increaseth sorowe.
9 The Lordes voyce cryeth vnto the citie, and the man of wisedome shall see thy name: Heare the rodde, and who hath appoynted it.

12 Men cry out of the citie, and the soules of the slayne cry out: yet God doth not charge them with follie.
34 Blessed is the man that heareth mee, watching dayly at my gates, & giuing attendance at the postes of my doores.
