12Dearely beloued, thinke it not strange concerning the firie triall, which is among you to proue you, as though some strange thing were come vnto you:
13But reioyce, in asmuch as ye are partakers of Christs suffrings, that when his glory shall appeare, ye may be glad and reioyce.
12Reioycing in hope, pacient in tribulation, continuing in prayer,
10Take, my brethren, the Prophets for an ensample of suffering aduersitie, and of long patience, which haue spoken in the Name of the Lord.
11Beholde, we count them blessed which endure. Ye haue heard of the patience of Iob, and haue knowen what ende the Lord made. For the Lord is very pitifull and mercifull.
4Which comforteth vs in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any affliction by the comfort wherewith we our selues are comforted of God.
5For as the sufferings of Christ abounde in vs, so our consolation aboundeth through Christ.
6And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and saluation, which is wrought in the induring of the same sufferings, which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and saluation.
7And our hope is stedfast concerning you, in as much as we know that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
8For brethren, we woulde not haue you ignorant of our affliction, which came vnto vs in Asia, howe we were pressed out of measure passing strength, so that we altogether doubted, euen of life.
3That no man should be moued with these afflictions: for ye your selues knowe, that we are appointed thereunto.
4For verily when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulations, euen as it came to passe, and ye knowe it.
17For our light affliction which is but for a moment, causeth vnto vs a farre most excellent and an eternall waight of glorie:
4But in all things we approue our selues as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5In stripes, in prisons, in tumults, in labours,
13Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for your sakes, which is your glory.
4I vse great boldnesse of speach toward you: I reioyce greatly in you: I am filled with comfort, and am exceeding ioyous in all our tribulation.
7Therefore, brethren, we had consolation in you, in all our affliction and necessitie through your faith.
11And not onely so, but we also reioyce in God through our Lord Iesus Christ, by whom we haue nowe receiued the atonement.
25But if we hope for that we see not, we doe with patience abide for it.
12And labour, working with our owne handes: we are reuiled, and yet we blesse: we are persecuted, and suffer it.
4For whatsoeuer things are written aforetime, are writte for our learning, that we through patience, and comfort of the Scriptures might haue hope.
11Strengthened with all might through his glorious power, vnto all patience, and long suffering with ioyfulnesse,
18For I count that the afflictions of this present time are not worthy of the glory, which shalbe shewed vnto vs.
7But we haue this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellencie of that power might be of God, and not of vs.
8Wee are afflicted on euery side, yet are we not in distresse: we are in doubt, but yet wee despaire not.
12Blessed is ye man, that endureth tentation: for when he is tried, hee shall receiue the crowne of life, which the Lorde hath promised to them that loue him.
9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren which are in the world.
10And the God of all grace, which hath called vs vnto his eternall glory by Christ Iesus, after that ye haue suffered a litle, make you perfite, confirme, strengthen and stablish you.
