7The Lord also shall preserue the tents of Iudah, as afore time: therefore the glorie of the house of Dauid shall not boast, nor the glorie of the inhabitants of Ierusalem against Iudah.
8In that day shall the Lord defende the inhabitants of Ierusalem, & he that is feeble among them, in that day shall be as Dauid: and the house of Dauid shall be as Gods house, and as the Angel of the Lord before them.
9And in that day will I seeke to destroy all the nations that come against Ierusalem.

18Beholde, I and the children whome the Lorde hath giuen me, are as signes and as wonders in Israel, by the Lord of hostes, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
20Looke vpon Zion the citie of our solemne feastes: thine eyes shall see Ierusalem a quiet habitation, a Tabernacle that can not be remooued: and the stakes thereof can neuer be taken away, neither shall any of the cordes thereof be broken.
10As touching me also, mine eye shall not spare them, neither will I haue pitie, but will recompence their wayes vpon their heades.
17So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, mine holy Mountaine: then shall Ierusalem bee holy, and there shall no strangers go thorowe her any more.
4And though they goe into captiuitie before their enemies, thence wil I commande the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes vpon them for euill, and not for good.
24Therefore sayth the Lorde God of hostes, the mightie one of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine aduersaries, & auenge me of mine enemies.
3And I saide vnto them, Let not the gates of Ierusalem be opened, vntill the heate of the sunne: and while they stande by, let them shut the doores, and make them fast: and I appointed wardes of the inhabitants of Ierusalem, euery one in his warde, and euery one ouer against his house.
11Is this House become a denne of theeues, whereupon my Name is called before your eyes? Beholde, euen I see it, sayeth the Lord.
18For I, beholde, I this day haue made thee a defenced citie, and an yron pillar and walles of brasse against the whole lande, against the Kings of Iudah, and against the princes thereof, against the Priestes thereof and against the people of the lande.
19For they shall fight against thee, but they shall not preuaile against thee: for I am with thee to deliuer thee, sayth the Lord.
5And your eyes shall see it, and yee shall say, The Lorde will be magnified vpon the border of Israel.
4But they shall sit euery man vnder his vine, and vnder his figge tree, and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lorde of hostes hath spoken it.
8But hee that was yesterday my people, is risen vp on the other side, as against an enemie: they spoyle the beautifull garment from them that passe by peaceably, as though they returned from the warre.
6For thus hath the Lord said vnto me, Go, set a watchman, to tell what he seeth.
8The voyce of thy watchmen shalbe heard: they shall lift vp their voyce, and shoute together: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring againe Zion.
3Though an hoste pitched against me, mine heart should not be afraide: though warre be raised against me, I will trust in this.

9And he shall go for feare to his towre, and his princes shall be afraide of the standart, sayeth the Lord, whose fire is in Zion, and his fornace in Ierusalem.
13Beholde, I come against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, & rocke of the plaine, saith the Lord, which say, Who shall come downe against vs? or who shall enter into our habitations?
12His armies came together, & made their way vpon me, and camped about my tabernacle.
34For I will defende this citie to saue it for mine owne sake, and for Dauid my seruants sake.
8And hee discouered the couering of Iudah: and thou didest looke in that day to the armour of the house of the forest.
15So againe haue I determined in these daies to doe well vnto Ierusalem, and to the house of Iudah: feare ye not.
7The Lorde is with mee among them that helpe me: therefore shall I see my desire vpon mine enemies.
10But all the sinners of my people shall dye by the sword, which say, The euill shal not come, nor hasten for vs.

3The pastors with their flockes shall come vnto her: they shall pitche their tentes rounde about by her, & euery one shal feede in his place.
11And men shall dwell in it, and there shall bee no more destruction, but Ierusalem shall bee safely inhabited.
32And thou shalt see thine enemie in the habitation of the Lord in all thinges wherewith God shall blesse Israel, and there shall not be an olde man in thine house for euer.
27I haue set thee for a defence and fortres among my people, that thou maiest knowe and trie their waies.
12Thus saith the Lorde, Though they be quiet, and also many, yet thus shall they be cut off when he shall passe by: though I haue afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.
11Mine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my wish against the wicked, that rise vp against me.
