1Gather your selues, euen gather you, O nation not worthie to be loued,

15Alas: for the day, for the day of the Lord is at hand, and it commeth as a destruction from the Almightie.
18Woe vnto you, that desire the day of the Lord: what haue you to do with it? the day of the Lord is darkenes and not light.
7Hearken vnto me, ye that know righteousnesse, the people in whose heart is my Lawe. Feare ye not the reproche of men, neither be ye afraide of their rebukes.

7Be stil at the presence of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is at hand: for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, and hath sanctified his ghests.

17Yee haue wearied the Lorde with your woordes: yet yee say, Wherein haue we wearied him? When ye say, Euery one that doeth euill, is good in the sight of the Lorde, and he deliteth in them. Or where is the God of iudgement?
7Surely the vineyard of the Lord of hostes is the house of Israel, and the men of Iudah are his pleasant plant, and hee looked for iudgement, but beholde oppression: for righteousnesse, but beholde a crying.
15What haue ye to do, that ye beate my people to pieces, and grinde the faces of the poore, saith the Lord, euen tho Lord of hostes?
1Heare me, ye that followe after righteousnes, and ye that seeke the Lorde: looke vnto the rocke, whence ye are hewen, and to the hole of the pit, whence ye are digged.
6Therefore turne thou to thy God: keepe mercy and iudgement, and hope still in thy God.
12And at that time will I searche Ierusalem with lightes, and visite the men that are frosen in their dregges, & say in their heartes, The Lord will neither doe good nor doe euill.
5And yee shall flee vnto the valley of the mountaines: for the valley of the mountaines shal reache vnto Azal: yea, yee shall flee like as ye fled from the earthquake in the daies of Vzziah King of Iudah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the Saints with thee.
26The poore shall eate and be satisfied: they that seeke after the Lorde, shall prayse him: your heart shall liue for euer.
18Neither their siluer nor their golde shalbe able to deliuer them in ye day of the Lords wrath, but the whole lande shalbe deuoured by the fire of his ielousie: for hee shall make euen a speedie riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
