14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
11And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
3Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
9And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
5Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
15Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
7In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
