Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation.

  • 8For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

  • 4Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;

  • 6Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.

  • 10For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

  • 10These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.
