3 And his men that [were] with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
12 And in every several city [he put] shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.

5 And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all [they of] Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah [was] four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew sword.
11 And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will come and help thee.
