22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise [you] not.
10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
20 Where [is] the wise? where [is] the scribe? where [is] the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
4 ¶ Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with [them] to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you]:
12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
5 ¶ Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and [to] Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think [of men] above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in [his] brother's way.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].
31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
19 Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but [we do] all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
2 But I beseech [you], that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
13 ¶ Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
