3¶ Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
5For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
17And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning [here] in fear:

23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
13¶ Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
11For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
4And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
3¶ Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ:
4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
7So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
8Who shall also confirm you unto the end, [that ye may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
12¶ Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
2In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
10¶ But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].
3Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
14That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.
18That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
14That thou keep [this] commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
9Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
10But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
13To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
20For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1¶ For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
12That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
