7For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

9For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
24Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
4So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

7And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.
21Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, [is] God;
2But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
18And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise [is] in the gospel throughout all the churches;
