7In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine [shewing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
13Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
8I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God.
4Every man praying or prophesying, having [his] head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with [her] head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for [her] hair is given her for a covering.
11Even so [must their] wives [be] grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
9[Exhort] servants to be obedient unto their own masters, [and] to please [them] well in all [things]; not answering again;
10Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
34¶ Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
2For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
35And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
14I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
10For this cause ought the woman to have power on [her] head because of the angels.
11Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

5¶ The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so [are] abomination unto the LORD thy God.
4And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
