20Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

31That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
17¶ I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
14For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which [I made] before Titus, is found a truth.
17But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

12For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
55‹Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.›
12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
14But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
3I thank God, whom I serve from [my] forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
11According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
12¶ And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
18But [as] God [is] true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.
