21 Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
12 ¶ Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, [I did it] not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.
13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.

2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.
9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
7 ¶ Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
9 For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
4 Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;

3 ¶ For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
10 ¶ But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
