16Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
1¶ Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
2To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, [but] gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
6Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
10That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
8Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
9Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
2Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.
15That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
12¶ For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to [answer] them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

17For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
16To preach the gospel in the [regions] beyond you, [and] not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand.
7For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
6For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but [now] I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me [to be], or [that] he heareth of me.
7¶ Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
1¶ Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and [his] doctrine be not blasphemed.
16As free, and not using [your] liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
7And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
16¶ Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
6That no [man] go beyond and defraud his brother in [any] matter: because that the Lord [is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
19Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but [we do] all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
2For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same [is] a perfect man, [and] able also to bridle the whole body.
20For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed [are] pure; but [it is] evil for that man who eateth with offence.
21[It is] good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor [any thing] whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
8By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and [yet] true;
16And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and [toward] men.
12That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and [that] ye may have lack of nothing.
7Or ministry, [let us wait] on [our] ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
7Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
