10¶ But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
3Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
13Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
5But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
10Ye [are] witnesses, and God [also], how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

10That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
34For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
12¶ For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
1¶ Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ.
6But though [I be] rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
34Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
16Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
