6¶ Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
5That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and [in] all knowledge;
2That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
3In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4¶ And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
8Who shall also confirm you unto the end, [that ye may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
1¶ Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort [you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, [so] ye would abound more and more.
11Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
20[And] how I kept back nothing that was profitable [unto you], but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
31Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
8Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
9Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
21For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
25Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
9For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, [even] your perfection.
12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
17For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
