28¶ All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar.

13¶ But he [is] in one [mind], and who can turn him? and [what] his soul desireth, even [that] he doeth.
24Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.

10The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore [there is] no king, lord, nor ruler, [that] asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
11And [it is] a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.
29When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth [his] face, who then can behold him? whether [it be done] against a nation, or against a man only:
34He beholdeth all high [things]: he [is] a king over all the children of pride.
28But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;
10None [is so] fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
17All nations before him [are] as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
1¶ Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
27And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
14From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
28¶ [Then] Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed [be] the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
29Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
19[How much less to him] that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all [are] the work of his hands.
13Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
37¶ Who [is] he [that] saith, and it cometh to pass, [when] the Lord commandeth [it] not?
