  • 11[As] the partridge sitteth [on eggs], and hatcheth [them] not; [so] he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

  • 22¶ Did I say, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me of your substance?

  • 7¶ There is that maketh himself rich, yet [hath] nothing: [there is] that maketh himself poor, yet [hath] great riches.

  • 19Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this [is] the gift of God.

  • 2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy [shalt] thou [be], and [it shall be] well with thee.

  • 4¶ He becometh poor that dealeth [with] a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

  • 16O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name [cometh] of thine hand, and [is] all thine own.

  • 13Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?

  • 12Wisdom and knowledge [is] granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that [have been] before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

  • 7For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God [hath been] with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

  • 4Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance to possess it:

  • 8¶ He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
