1¶ I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

34¶ Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see [it].
14¶ Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, [yet] judgment [is] before him; therefore trust thou in him.
14Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision [is] for [many] days.
12Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

6My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I say, more than] they that watch for the morning.
4He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
7¶ Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
7Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
15Behold, they say unto me, Where [is] the word of the LORD? let it come now.
19And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end [shall be].
9And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
9¶ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
8¶ Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:

15¶ Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
3And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
11And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which [men] deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it [is] sealed:
12That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
8¶ Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination [is] to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, [even] all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
14Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
6For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.
2Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built.
